Installation of Cross on Church Building – Tachileik, Myanmar
Sometime during January this year, our government planned a new highway from the border of Thailand to Tachileik airport. Our church will be on the side of this highway and will be seen as people drive or walk along this highway. 86% of the population in our country is non Christian and 90% of our town is also non Christian.
Once this highway is completed, the people in our town, including the government officials will be able to see our church clearly. Before the highway is completed, we must first put up the cross on our church building. Then others will see the cross and know there is a church here. Our vision is that the cross will be a bold, prominent symbol to the community – to lead many lost souls to Jesus Christ.
