Leadership Training – Faridpur District, Bangladesh

We traveled from Dhaka by bus on the 19th of March on Monday afternoon. By the grace of God we reached Faridpur District safely at 6:00 p.m. We returned to our respective homes on the 28th of March.

This was our 4th Go Forth training in this place. There were 40 participants and all the participants were blessed by the lessons.

Teachers / Ministry Team: Newton Sarkar, Ps Toukir Hossain and Youth Pastor Binjamin.

HOME VISITATION
We visited 35 families and during this period, we utilized new preaching methods sharing the word of God with several Muslim Leaders. We also visited families, prayed for the sick as well and had some inner healing prayers.

God touched many Muslim Leaders’ hearts, and they truly felt God presence when we prayed for them.

Many of our cell church women are full-time housewives and they are not so well educated but many of them are high school graduates. They are married with children, and are constantly busy supporting each of their respective families. With this reason alone, everything that I’ve learned from GFA training will be taught again in my Cell Church.

God has given me a vision to serve and minister to the women working in the brothels and to the children in Faridpur District. Faridpur has one of the biggest number of brothels in the world, consisting more then 10,000 sex workers. My vision is to lend a helping hand to them and to try to get them out of this.
