Medical Blessings

Medicare clinics provided by volunteer doctors, nurses, pharmacists and physio-therapists who tithe valuable time from their busy schedules to show love in treating villagers from remote and hard-access places.  Perplexed villagers ask, “Why do you come so far to give us Medicare and free medicine when our own doctors don’t care for us?”

Many STMT medical clinics from Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, USA and local doctors have made inroads to the remote villages, where once hostile Gospel reception took a turn to listening ears due to the practical love of care and medicine. The primary focus of these clinics is to show love and care to the villagers. Hearts opening in the process would greatly helped the local pastors and leaders to bring the Gospel to the now receptive hearts.

Miracles happened in these clinics with some of the patients. These ones who could not walk unassisted and before seeing the doctor, were walking after earnest prayer from the team. Some who had come with crutches or wheel-barrows, went home walking with crutches horizontally held at their waists.

A farmer with a bamboo splinter in his right foot was turning blue at the wound; swollen and with great pain. The foreign doctor did an immediate operation to extract the splinter, which was life-threatening. The farmer soon walked home after prayer and onto the road of recovery. That village would spread the news like wild-fire of his miraculous operation and healing, saving his precious life in the process. Hearts would definitely be opened here and the Gospel would have listening ears later.

The primary focus of these clinics is to show love and care to the villagers.

Medical personnel are cordially invited to be on these “love teams” to generously give to these ones who cannot return your favour. Be God’s blessing to the down-trodden, poor and needy. (Gal 6:9-10).
